Research Interests
Dr. Ge is interested in understanding the molecular mechanism that plants adopt to deal with various environmental stresses, especially the abiotic stress responses in Arabidopsis and rice. In her lab, one of the major research fields is the plant development under environmental stresses and molecular mechanism of drought regulating reproductive process; she is also interested in studying proteins involved in DNA damage response. Her lab has obtained multiple new genes and studied their functions by biochemical and genetic approaches.
