1996-2006, Yan Zhu studied in the School of life sciences, Fudan University. He performed the post-doctoral research at Fudan University in 2007-2008, and got a faculty position to work on plant epigenetics in 2009.

Research Interests)

Plant epigenetics. The mechanisms of chromatin modulation by chromatin remodeling factors and histone chaperones in DNA replication, transcription and DNA repair, and the functional implication of chromatin compaction and its dynamic regulation in physiological metabolism in plants.
